Catawba: Private backyard oasis. Hot Tub, Koi Pond, Firepit

The house was as described. Highlights included plenty of towels, beach materials (chairs, etc.), and a nice private backyard. The only downside was that the kitchen could be better stocked with pots, pans, etc.

We loved our stay here. The house was clean and has all of the amenities we needed to make multiple meals and feel like we were at home! We’ve stayed at multiple places and love that they even provide towels and different bathroom supplies to make it easy to check in and just “live” :). There were a bunch of beach supplies as well which makes traveling easier (wagon, chairs, umbrella, fishing poles, and a wakeboard). First street beach is a little far for a walk so we ended up driving when we went as it was too difficult to haul all of our stuff on the gravel. It wasn’t a deal breaker as location was so quiet and out of the way. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a lovely time and would stay again. Location is ideal if you are looking for a peaceful stay and still close to everything. What would make it even better… eating utensils could use and upgrade and a few more large mixing bowls. We didn’t know the grill was charcoal and that could be a miss on our part but would’ve loved a gas grill. Team was great to work with and everything else was as expected.

If I could rate this property more than 5 stars, I would. Very clean, well stocked, great hot tub, gorgeous landscaping and more. Location is excellent. No chore list on check out. Excellent communication from the owners. I may book again next year!
